Do you ever look at the food in your fridge, knowing that you meant to make all kinds of amazing meals with it, but not want to start the long process of trying to find a recipe that meets your criteria for healthy, tasty, and vegan?
Or do you ever wish that you could walk into the grocery store, without a list, see what’s on special in the produce section, and know what else to pick up to create a delicious meal with it as you wander through the rest of the store?
Learning to make quick, healthy meals that taste good and satisfy everyone at the table is tough.
It took me years to figure out first how to make healthy meals, and then to make them taste good, and even longer to figure out how to do that easily on a daily basis without spending all of my precious free time in the kitchen.
If you’ve been watching my recipes and tips on my site and YouTube channel over the past nearly 7 years, you’ve gotten a good idea of how that happens in my kitchen.
But what you don’t get in those videos is the behind the scenes of my mind, and how I come up with those recipes. If you want to get a closer look, a better understanding of how to cook and a deeper education of what makes a healthy vegan meal – and how to make it fun and tasty – you can.
You’ve got a chance right now to learn my secret tips, tricks and shortcuts for healthy cooking that don’t show up in my public recipes and articles.
Stop struggling in your kitchen – join me in mine!
Over the past 10 years, as I’ve shifted to a healthy diet and then a vegan diet, I’ve made lots of mistakes, and have had more than my share of kitchen disasters.
I’ve tried out so many recipes, discovering what works and what doesn’t.
I’ve taken cooking classes, to uncover the process behind cooking techniques and learn to create my own dishes and recipes.
I’ve become a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, to understand how to get a nutritionally-balanced vegan diet.
I’ve experimented with and merged these fields – which are usually thought of as two separate worlds – together to bring you the best tips, tricks and techniques to make simple, healthy, tasty vegan meals.
I’m excited to help you move past the same old, not-so-healthy meals to making simple, flavorful, nutrient-dense recipes that give you the nutrients you need to sail through your day full of energy, confidence and general happiness.
This is your opportunity to become a confident cook, able to make healthy and tasty vegan meals every day of the week that you and your family love eating – and avoid kitchen disasters, disappointments and embarrassments.
You have a chance to learn the process behind the recipes, so that you can start to improvise off standard recipes to suit your tastes – and maybe even start cooking without having to use a recipe at all!

Here’s how it works… I did a series of online classes, with students watching live from their homes. They were incredibly popular, but not everyone could make it to the live sessions because of time zones and work schedules and such.
Since I had recorded them for the participants to watch after the live class, I decided to open them up to registrations outside the live group, and they’ve been fantastically well-received by everyone who goes through as a self-guided student.
One student said, “I feel like I’m in a friend’s kitchen while she cooks & chats about a bunch of stuff she’s learned. I can almost see myself sitting at the counter with a glass of iced tea…or maybe some wine.”
So here’s what we’ll talk about in these classes…

Q: “I’ve never cooked for myself before. Am I going to be able to make the meals in the classes?”
A: I create recipes with the idea of being as easy as possible for people who aren’t used to cooking for themselves, or aren’t used to cooking whole plant foods. I put the recipes and meals together using as few packaged foods as possible, so you will be learning how to cook things from scratch, but you can totally do it.
Even the most beginner cooks have told me they weren’t overwhelmed, and actually enjoyed gaining confidence in their skills in the kitchen. You’ll learn all the important things you need to know about cooking vegetables, whole grains and beans and using seasonings so that you shouldn’t have any trouble with the recipes.
