The gorgeous Tess Challis of Radiant Health, Inner Wealth is sharing with us her daily smoothie, which may well be the secret to her radiance, her endless energy, and her sweetness.

Tess is also the mom to Alethea, Vegan Kid Chef. So she’s doing some things very right. Let’s pick up as many tips from her as we can…

We also may call it ‘crazy ass smoothie’ when you look at the ingredients, but trust me–it’s amazing!

Tess’s Supercharging Smoothie for Moms

Prep time:
Makes 1 large smoothie

  • 3 cups kale (anything but lacinato, as that’s a bit intense in flavor)
  • 1 cup carrots (one large carrot)
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen berries – I like strawberries or raspberries
  • 1/2 – 1 cup orange juice (the more you use, the better the flavor – I have worked down to 1/2 cup, but my daughter will drink it if I use a full cup)
  • enough water to blend (1-2 cups)


  1. Blend all the ingredients until smooth.
